The Frugal Green Gourmet: Soup Makes Cents...

An article in the LA Times Business Section today, stated food-price inflation may run as high as 6% this year, the highest since 1980, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.  The average cost of typical weekly food consumer purchases rose 11% in the three months ending September, 2008 said Jim Sartwelle, an economist for The Farm Bureau Federation.
